Morning

Study It

Read Ephesians 6:10-20. How does this passage point me to the gospel? How does Jesus bring life and hope to broken sinners like me? How can I respond?

Meditation and Prayer

Meditate on Psalm 78:65-66: “Then the Lord awoke as from sleep, like a strong man shouting because of wine. And he put his adversaries to rout; he put them to everlasting shame.”

Respond: “Father, thank you that you will one day defeat all that is evil and broken in the world, including _____________.” (repeat for as many things as come to mind)

Midday

Worship and Silence

Worship along with this song. Spend a few minutes after in silence.

“I’ve found this song to minister to me as I see so many Christians turning to anger and power politics in order to maintain control over our society. Where is grace and love and mercy? Where is compassion and prayer for people? This song just voices a lot of my frustrations well and turns my heart toward God who is the King of Kings.” – Rich (have a worship song to share?
