Read: Genesis 14 (focus just on verse 17 through the end of the chapter)

Also read: Psalm 110

Melchizedek is considered a Type of Christ. “Typology refers to historical people, places, objects, or events which foreshadow Christ and his work in the Old Testament.” (More on types here in this article) What are some ways we see Melchizedek foreshadowing Jesus in Genesis and in Psalm 110? We’ll work on the same question and passages tomorrow too.

Meditate on Psalm 112:5: “It is well with the man who deals generously and lends; who conducts his affairs with justice.”
